Consultation on our proposal to change admissions arrangements: 2020-21 school year

As a Trust, we propose to manage arrangements for student admissions for Year 7 and in-year transfers. Currently, the process is managed by Durham Local Education Authority. Under the new arrangements, parents for Year 7 entry will continue to use the Local Authority’s Common Application Form (CAF) either online or hard copy.  After informing other admissions authorities of any applications made for their school(s), the Local Authority would pass the application to us to manage the rest of the process.  Parents who wish to change schools in-year will complete a Trust transfer form and apply directly to the Trust for admission to the Academy. We also propose to extend the admission criteria.
