    Year 12 Raising Aspirations

    Collaboration is a skill that is crucial for success. To develop this in our students all the Year 12 Maths, Geography and Biology students took part in a cross-curricular collaborative event to explore the Mathematical content in the three subjects are interrelated. The students from the different subjects had to work together to solve some from each of the subjects along a common mathematical theme.     What does it take to get an A* in Further Maths at A-Level? As well as Mathematical ability and hard-work, communication and collaboration is essential. To develop these skills, Mr Hall and Mrs Beckett took our Year 12 and Year 13 Further Maths students to EXIT Newcastle Escape Room. They managed to escape with the fastest time of the day: 40 minutes and 44 seconds. Read More
