Mr Reynolds, Executive Principal, comments, “We have high aspirations for all our students and I’m delighted that more students than ever have been awarded the grades they need to fulfil their chosen destination, whether staying on to study A’ levels at the Academy, continuing their education at college or embarking on an apprenticeship. I would like to take this opportunity to recognise the hard work and dedication of all staff at the Academy and the support of parents/carers. I would like to congratulate all our Year 11 students and wish them the very best for the future.”

Mrs R Somerville, Director of School and Curriculum, at Consett Academy adds, “Completing GCSE qualifications is not an easy achievement and our young people should be extremely proud of themselves and the journey that they have been on.  For many, there are lots of things that get in the way of them studying, but determination and hard work has definitely paid off and those students should be extremely proud of themselves for the results they have achieved.  I would also like to thank all who work at Consett Academy for their contribution to our students success.  Without every single person we could not be as strong and successful as we are.”

Staff are enrolling students into the Sixth Form on 22nd and 23rd August 2019.
