Students and staff took time to be creatively crafty during the LRC's Crafternoon and raised £30 in aid of Mind, the mental health charity.

As well as knitting and pom pom making participants had the chance to try their paper crafting skills and had a go at making lanterns, pinwheels, origami butterflies and houses among other things. The sessions, held in the LRC over lunch times and after school, were very popular - so much so that one of our Year 7 students commented that 'I wish we could do this everyday!' With this in mind, from September, the LRC will be running a weekly Crafternoon Club between 3pm - 4pm (exact day TBC) so students (and staff!) will have even more opportunities to be creative!
