Durham Science and Technology Challenge

Congratulations to our team members who attended the Durham Science and Technology Challenge yesterday.

Students had to work in groups to complete three tasks:

1) to create an EFIT of someone,
2) to programme a robot, and
3) to carry out a medical diagnosis of a 'patient'.

Jamie and Heather worked on the task to create an EFIT of our very own Mr Green and were presented with a plaque and certificate for winning this task. It’s not a bad likeness!

Once the results for all three of the tasks had been collected, the Mayor of Durham Cllr Katie Corrigan presented Ella and Caitlin with a trophy and certificate as members of the overall winning team.  Ella and Caitlin are now invited to attend the national final at the end of the year.

We are extremely proud of our team and thank you to MCS Projects Limited Raising Aspirations for this opportunity. http://mcsprojectsltd.co.uk/
