Consett Academy Book Award - Reviewers needed!

The Academy is delighted to be launching its first ever book award and would love to invite students and staff members to read and review books on the shortlist.

The shortlist consists of a mix of 15 fiction and non-fiction titles which were supplied to the Academy as part the charity BookTrust's School Library Pack. The books are suitable for a range of reading abilities and hopefully there will be something that appeals to you!

If students or staff are interested in reading and reviewing any of the titles please come and speak to Miss Horth in the LRC. The date for final review submission is Friday 29th June - so there is still plenty of time to get involved!

The Consett Academy Book Award logo was designed by Year 8 student Charlotte - we're sure you'll agree that Charlotte's winning design perfectly reflects the Academy and its newly created award.
