Auschwitz Visit

A trip ran by Holocaust Education Trust enabled two Sixth Form students to visit Poland and take part in an educational visit to discover more about the Holocaust.  The two students were: Adam W and Niamh Mc.

“The trip to Auschwitz in Poland was a fantastic experience, serving as an eye opener into the treatment of the Jewish people in 20th Century Europe. The trip personified the creed ‘seeing is believing’ and allowed me to appreciate the impact of the Holocaust in a way reading a textbook or watching a documentary could not have done. I would encourage everyone to visit one of these sights, to both commemorate the victims of oppression and to learn the importance of defending the truth.”
