Individualised Study Programme

When choosing the right course, it is important to consider what the result of these qualifications will be. 

  • Our A Level pathway aims to support students who are hoping to apply to universities and wish to follow a pure academic course.

A Level Pathway

5 Separate GCSE subject passes at grades 5-9 with English and Maths at grade 5 or above

3 A Level courses

Each student’s eligibility will be considered on an individual basis and some exceptions may apply depending on circumstance.

  • Students will be expected to enrol to study three subjects in Sixth Form
  • Students who do not achieve at least grade 4 in Maths will be required to re-sit this course in Sixth Form

 

Entry Requirements

As well as the general criteria it is important to refer to the individual subject guidance on subject leaflets.

Any personal issues regarding entry criteria and extenuating circumstances can be raised and discussed either prior to the application being submitted or during your meeting with the Sixth Form team.
